We are a loving married couple living in Spain with our two children—a 14-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy—and two lovely, friendly dogs. We are seeking an experienced and service-minded woman to join our family as an au pair. Below are the details of what we are looking for: Job Description The au pair will: • Assist in caring for our two children, including helping with school routines, homework, and engaging them in creative and educational activities. • Help with basic cooking for the family, including meal preparation and ensuring nutritious, balanced meals. • Assist with light household cleaning and organization to maintain a clean and welcoming home environment. • Be comfortable around and help with occasional care for our two dogs (e.g., walking, feeding, etc.). Requirements 1. Experience and Skills • Previous experience as an au pair, nanny, or in childcare. • Basic cooking skills with the willingness to prepare family meals. • Ability to manage household cleaning tasks efficiently and independently. 2. Personal Qualities • Warm, caring, and service-minded individual who genuinely enjoys working with children. • Reliable, responsible, and able to manage daily schedules effectively. • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the family. • Energetic and willing to engage in activities with the children and the dogs. 3. Language Skills • English or Portuguese/Spanish/Danish 4. Additional Requirements • Non-smoker. • Comfortable living in Spain and willing to integrate into our family life. • Love for animals, especially dogs, is essential. Living Arrangements • Private room provided. • Meals included. • Access to Wi-Fi and other basic amenities. • Supportive and welcoming family atmosphere. Working Hours • Approximately 30–35 hours per week with two days off. • Flexibility to adjust schedules as needed (e.g., during school holidays).
