JULIA, 18 ÅR

Dear future host family, my name is Julia, and I would love to briefly introduce myself. I am 18 years old, and I have two sisters (20 yrs. and 15 yrs.). Ten years ago, my family and I were living in California for more than two years because of an international assignment of my dad. After moving back to Germany, we settled down in the South Black Forrest area in a small town (nearly 20 000 inhabitants). I live here with my family and our pets (cats and dog) in a beautiful house. I am going to graduate from high school (13th grade) early July 2025. Prior starting my study as a bachelor for primary education (equal to elementary schoolteacher), I would like to spend several months abroad working as an Au-Pair. During recent summer break, I was nearly two months on student exchange in Chile improving my Spanish. I used to work two hours per week in after school care in an elementary school for five years. I love working with children because their view on everyday life is fascinating. My hobbies are painting, family activities and travelling. I am looking forward to getting in touch with you soon.
