KEZIAH, 23 ÅR

Greetings to you all, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Keziah Chepkirui and I am 23 years old, I am a Kenyan and I have gotten an opportunity to come and learn the Danish culture and language at a højskole which is so amazing in every possible way and I am so excited! Just a little bit about myself, I am a Christian and I am from the Kalenjin tribe in Kenya. I love swimming, cycling,learning new cultures and languages, hiking,travelling, reading and volunteering especially with the elderly and kids because they are the most vulnerable and will always need someone to be there for them. I also love oceans, seas and their coasts and I love animals. This opportunity has enabled me to live and do most of the things I like since you have a beautiful country with a biking culture and you can never be far away from the ocean in Denmark😍I also get to learn a whole new language and culture! How amazing is that! My stay at the højskole ends in four months and I would like to stay and continue learning and experience different cultures and languages and what better way to do this than to be an aupair?that way I get to spend time with kids which to me is a gift since even back at home I have dedicated most of my time to kids, teaching them, spending time with them because I am passionate about kids, their emotional,mental and physical needs will always be my concern. My skills in child care provision along with my positive attitude and friendly nature position me to excel in being an aupair. I am eager to accept a new opportunity to make a positive difference in your children's lives. The chance to offer more insight into my experience would be most welcome. I am a very patient person, non-violent and accept constructive criticism as an opportunity to learn. I am adept in attending to the emotional, physical and behavioral needs of children as I have worked with kids all my life, as nanny, as a Sunday school teacher, as a volunteer in children's homes and as a big sister helping my mom take care of my two young brothers, one of them being autistic so I have learnt the extra patience needed when taking care of special needs children. I am warm and receptive and funny , always smiling and I enjoy and appreciate the little things in life. My calm personality has afforded me a well rounded skill set including fast rate communication and problem solving. I excel at engaging children with games, puzzles to bond and to boost their thinking ability.My time management is perfect and I am easy going and friendly. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a passion for helping nature and developing children. I am available in January so I am taking this opportunity and time to look for a host family before then. Asides that I am very okay with helping with light household chores, dropping and picking kids from school/daycare,helping with homework where I can as I have studied upto university level, spending time with kids and family, cooking and learning family traditions and I can't wait to be part of my first host family!
