My name is Loise , 29 years old Kenyan female Aupair with more than 8 years experience of child care. I am from small town called Nyeri in central Kenya and I am looking for my first Au Pair match. I'm a diploma graduate in business management and specialized in logistics and Supply chain management. I am living in a house located in 20 km from Nairobi the capital city of Kenya an area full of nature. I come from a family of 6: Mukenye (dad) retired police, My mother Alice, Deputy headteacher, . My big brother (32) who is an IT specialist and my Younger sister (12) and she is in class 5 In about two years, I plan to pursue my degree ( pediatric nurse) but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So at the moment I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experiences, and to have time to calmly reflect my professional orientation. I would like to spend a year abroad or more would be particularly interesting exploring cultural exchange. I believe Aupair Program will prepare me achieving my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse by learning how to deal with different kinds of kids from different culture. What can I offer as your Au Pair ? I am an optimistic and enthusiastic person by nature. I am looking for a cultural exchange with your family (not a job). I can help in house chores like cooking, laundry, ironing and many more. I am a experienced driver I can help in dropping and picking the children to and from school. I have experience with first aid. I am willing to work with children under two years old, as well as those with special needs. I am also willing to care for pets. I I speak Swahili and English and I would love to learn new language. When it comes to child care experience, I've help my mother to look after my sister since she was one one week old. I have also help my aunt to look after her three children eleven, eight and four years old respectively. In my free time I love to cook, bike ride, visiting places and going for a walk with friends. I am choosing an Au Pair because I am very motivated and I found cultural exchanges to be some of the most rewarding experiences in life. I believe that the job of an Au Pair is challenging and but with many rewards. As preference are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them at least minimum of 12 months. I am excited to experience the culture of the country I am placed in and am a social and au pair.
