Dear future host family, My name is Ann wanjira maina I live in Kenya. I am 23 years old. ⚪ Language -English -Swahili (native speaker) -Kikuyu (mother tongue) Hobbies - cooking 🍳 - going for walks - reading - outdoor games - listening to nature - riding bikes - hiking ⚪ Experience - I have experience in taking care of children as from 5 months to 13 years. I have 4 years experience as a nanny and a baby sitter. - Currently taking care of 2 little kids a boy (4 years) a girl (2 years) as a live in nanny. My roles include: • Feeding cooking • Helping children with homework • playing with children/ storytelling/ reading/ painting though not good at painting • Taking children to school/ to bus station/ picking them up • mentoring •organise time table - time to play / take a nap/ go to bed/ read/ go out for a walk / exercise. 🟣I'm a passport holder( not European) 🟣 I don't have a driver's license 🟣I know how to ride a bike 🟣I am an ambitious and driven person who has had children experience. I am also mature , responsible, flexible,kind , patient, independent, caring, outgoing and open minded. I am passionate about kids and i have this natural strong bond with children and with this I can assure you that the children will be in the safest hands. I can be a big sister as well as a role model . I can also help in house chores like vacuuming , laundry, washing dishes ,doing grocery shopping and tidying the house. Besides taking care of kids I love traveling , hiking ,nature walks , riding bicycle, volunteering/giving back to the community,making new friends , reading and exploring.
