BETH, 26 ÅR

Hello! My name is Beth, and I’m a 26-year-old from the Philippines, currently living in Netherlands. I grew up in a respectful and a loving family of six, where I have 3 siblings. My two older siblings are married already. So, I have two nephews and a niece. On my free time, I babysit them and play with them in the playground. Also, I spend time helping them doing their homework. Playing badminton together on the weekends and go for a walk under the bridge when the weather is good. My parents are so kind and generous with their love and so I grew up with great affection and respect to them. As a middle child, I help my mom with the finances and I am giving back what I have that deserves them. Moreover, I worked as an English teacher, teaching Korean and Japanese kids and adults. I absolutely enjoy working with children especially if I see them learning and having fun. I’m a proactive, optimistic, energetic, open-minded, and adventurous person, always excited for new experiences. I may be reserved at first but I am open to have a conversation in the long run. As an au pair in the Netherlands, I am looking forward to discovering more of the European culture and cities while being part of a family that values mutual respect. At the moment, I take care of three wonderful kids: a 9 year-old girl and 8-year-old boy and 4 years old boy. My daily responsibilities include preparing breakfast, tidying up their rooms and toys, packing lunch for the eldest, and picking them up from school. I send the kids to their after school activities. I cook dinner 3-4 times a week for the family, with one day dedicated to preparing Filipino dishes. I let the kids do arts and crafts like making a snowman using the colored paper and a bit of painting. Additionally, I help with light household chores like laundry, folding clothes, and loading/unloading the dishwasher. I am now seeking a new host family who is relaxed, open to discussing the schedule and babysitting needs, and ideally offers weekends off. Best regards, Beth
