Dear Host Families, I am happy you went through my au pair profile and am ready to join your family as soon as possible. My name is Maureen. I'm single. No kids. I have two brothers and one sister. I am the eldest child. My father is a farmer, and my mother is a teacher. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy reading a good book and comics, watching TV, running, and jogging. The sport I do like to play is karate and badminton. The instruments I know how to use are the lyre and xylophone. As a person, I am dependable, responsible, honest, and hardworking. I am able to follow directions, I have good interpersonal skills to get along with other people, I have a cheerful disposition, and I am willing to work under busy conditions. I love keeping the family´s home clean, tidy, and presentable. When it comes to experience, I'm currently employed in a family with 4 children. My duties and responsibilities as a nanny and housemaid are as follows. ✔ Cleaning the house, dusting and organizing, sweeping, and mopping the floors ✔ Collect dirty and used clothes for laundry. ✔ Folding dried clothes and rearranging them to their original placements, organizing closets ✔ Empty waste bins ✔ Cooking meals for the family, collecting and cleaning dishes after each meal ✔ Maintain kitchen and bathroom cleanliness after use ✔ Making family's beds ✔ Assist in the grocery shopping. ✔ Bathing and dressing children, prepare their lunch boxes, organizing children's toys and books, teaching them letters, numbers, and colors, reading books with them, taking children to parks and playgrounds, dropping off and picking up them from the school. The age of the children I am caring now is 3,5,6,7 years old ✔ Washing bed linens and towels if it’s necessary ✔ Watering indoor plants and feeding pets For my preferences, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for 1 year or 2 years.
