MARIE, 25 ÅR

My name is Marie, 25 years old, from the Philippine. I'm a proud Teacher and a Christian. I am single never been married and has no kids. I have a big family, I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters. I am the 7th child. My parents died when I was 4 years old which I became an orphan at early age. I grew up into different families so I've learned how to do household chores, and everything at my early young age. All of my siblings have their own family except me and my younger sister that's why we grew up at relatives house. But despite being an orphan, I had grown up in much better circumstances than others so I strive to impress myself. While staying at my relatives house doing all the household chores and helping them with the babysitting,at early age I used to look after my auntie's granddaughters and gradsons. I also took care my cousins sons and daughters anytime they need me and that's really fine to me because I'm always fond of children. I managed to finished my studies. I have a Bachelor’s degree and finished Teacher Education. I am passionate about providing of quality childcare and genuine love for children. Eventhough I finished college, I have a different interest aside from teaching and that would be travelling and learning more about other country. I want to become an Au Pair beacause it is really a matter of choice. I am eager to gain more knowledge and I want to take the time to discover new culture, meet new people, learn new languages and their customs. I think being an Au Pair would really fit my job interest, however, my hope is not to be seen as just a babysitter but as a big sister and part of the family. When it comes to babysitting, I am very confident. Since I stayed at my aunties home, I helped her with the babysitting after school and on the weekends. I am taking care of the babies and kids for the past 10 years. Right now I am a volunteer assistant of a teacher in kindergarten level and I can say that Im enjoying and having a lot of fun around the kids. I love playing and doing fun activities with kids. I like to describe myself as a very outgoing person, social, reliable and hardworking person. In my spare time I spend most of the time cooking, baking, listening to music, watching and landscaping. I make a little garden at home and plant some vegetables. Some weekends, I go out with friends and family to unwind and have some joy ride. I am also interested in sports like badminton and swimming. I am also comfortable with pets as I have pets in the house. After being an Au Pair I am planning to find another host family from other country, if God's will. Kind regards, Marie
