Dear Host Family, Warm greetings! Hallo! I am a Filipina in search for my first family match. It’s so exciting to be able to write to you to give you a better idea of who I am and what I’m like as a person. My name is Nelsie and I am 27-year-old. I studied Marketing Management and I've been working as a Customer Service Representative for 6 years. I came from a fairly large family of 8 and I'm the eldest. My childcare experience is mainly with my 5 siblings when they were young, babysitting my cousins and 1 niece which is 2 years old now. My father is a construction worker and my mom is a cook so most of the time I have to take care of my siblings while they are at work. I cook, play, tutor, drop and pick them up at school everyday and do household chores. Oh, we also have 2 cats and 2 dogs at home so I can definitely help with your fur babies if you have one. Growing up as the eldest, I was thought to be caring, responsible and independent especially around children. My hobbies includes reading, crocheting, painting and I also love music and traveling. Last year, I traveled to one of the beautiful island here in the Philippines and decided to stay for 7 months. One of the things that made it memorable was my volunteer work every week. We teach kids age 6-15 math, english and arts. We also organized and assist them with fun activities such as beach clean ups since we are near the beach. I just want to make more beautiful memories like that. I'm highly interested with Au pairing because I want to experience the culture exchange system between host families and the Au pairs. I believe this program will give me the opportunity to explore new places, meet good people and help parents be at ease with their children at home. I believe I'm capable of being a good au pair for your family because I have a lot of experience with kids, I'm responsible, trustworthy, loving, independent, patient, open, respectful, and most of all family-oriented.
