IAN, 26 ÅR

Dear host family, My name is Ian Wairiah . I am 25 years old and I live in Nakuru, a town in Kenya, a beautiful country in Africa. I am an open-minded, hard-working, easy-going, dedicated, trustworthy, helpful, patient, and responsible person. Taking care of kids and their health, safety, and happiness are the most important to me. I come from a small family, being the eldest of 2 children . My dad is a high school teacher while my mom is a pharmacist. One important virtue taught to us is to honor our family and as a result even people I choose as friends I consider them as 'family'. I take good care of my younger cousin, nephews and nieces which have resulted in creating a good bond with them. I recently graduated from Meru University, with a Diploma in Procurement and supply and chain management . I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures and meeting new people. I am very calm, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations. I would describe my strength as an Aupair as the ability to bond really well with kids and also blending in very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like a big brother to them. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an Aupair is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family. I really am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
