Dear Family , I am writing this to introduce myself as a driven and compassionate nanny who has excellent communication and childcare skills. I’m currently in Copenhagen as an au pair looking for new host families as my time here in Denmark is almost over. I previously worked with the Children’s Department in the hospital during my internship thus my wide experience in childcare which also made me grow an interest in becoming an au pair. I also have a first aid certificate from Denmark. I adore children and it would be my joy to see them grow , have a hand in their upbringing and also be like their older sister or role model. I would love to help the family in daily activities, baby sit the kids , help out in house chores as well as assist in other tasks assigned to me. I would love to help the kids perfect their English speaking skills by conducting tutorials , doing art and craft , painting and also teach them my other language ( kikuyu ) and my culture. My hobbies include : art such as drawing , doing DIY projects, knitting , reading books , listening to music , traveling among other things. After I’m done with my au pairing , I hope to continue with my education , do my Masters in Public Health and also set up an NGO that focuses on children living with disabilities (back in my home country). Being an au pair will make my dream come true as I hope to immerse myself in the new culture , experiences as well as make new friends and be part of the family.
