GLADNESS, 25 ÅR

Dear Host Family, My name is Gladness, 25 years and a kenyan looking to meet a wonderful host family. I come from a family of 6 my parents and three siblings. I have three dogs who i love so much and my little cat kiki. I'd like to describe myself as an honest, responsible, respectful, loving and very flexible person who enjoys exploring new activities and new cultures. I enjoy hobbies such as swimming, watching Netflix, traveling, playing in the park,enjoying board games, not forgetting i have skills such as braiding hair and doing pedicure and manicure which i believe are cool and fun ways to spend quality time with baby girls. I have pursued a diploma in fashion and interior design and a diploma in business management. I would love to major in pediatric nursing in the future but in the meantime I'm taking a break from school to explore new opportunities. With five years of experience as a nanny,I’ve learnt to be kind, compassionate, patient, understanding and gentle with children's emotions and feelings.I am highly skilled in household management tasks such as cleaning, and cooking—both of which I truly enjoy—and maintaining the overall tidiness of the home to the satisfaction of my host family not forgetting to meet all their needs. I have also had the joy of helping to raise and babysit two nieces and a nephew ages 1 year, 5years and 7years. This experience has deepened my love for children, and made me desire to have some of my own one day.I also volunteer at my local church as a sunday school teacher where i get to spend some quality time with children age 1 to 12 years . This experience has taught me relate to children of different age groups learning to adapt to every child's need and giving the right attention where needed. I want to be a blessing to my host family, i want to bring joy, happiness and laughter not forgetting warmth to your home.
