LOISE, 26 ÅR

My name is Loise Wanjiku, a 26-year-old dedicated nurse from Kenya with a deep passion for working with children. I currently work at a children’s NGO, providing care for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers (0-17 years). My work has allowed me to specialize in creating nurturing environments, catering to children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs. I come from a loving family with two older brothers and a younger sister, and I currently reside in Gachie, Nairobi. Music is a big part of my life—I’ve even composed and recorded my own song in the studio! I also enjoy singing, swimming, playing games, engaging in sports, and constantly learning new fun activities for kids. I’m always excited about sharing these interests with children while learning about each family's unique traditions. In addition to nursing experience, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with children, including those with special needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Cerebral Palsy. This experience has deepened my commitment to offering individualized, compassionate care and ensuring that every child, regardless of their abilities, feels valued and supported. As a nurse with experience working in a children's home, I have had the opportunity to interact with children of various personalities, giving me valuable skills in handling different temperaments effectively. I have cared for children as young as one day old up to 17 years of age. My background in nursing adds to my expertise in providing care, making me well-suited for the role of an au pair. I am also playful by nature and enjoy engaging in fun, childlike activities, which helps me build strong connections with the children. I would be thrilled to join your family as your next au pair.
