STEPHANY, 26 ÅR

Ciao, I'm Stephany Gome, 26 years old female from Kenya, Africa. I come from a single parent family, made up of three people, my mum, my 21-year-old brother and I. I majored in Sociology and Religious studies for my undergraduate degree. I've had an experience of dealing with kids from Sunday school where I've been a Sunday school for a cumulative duration of almost one year. I also volunteered in a children's home for about one month back in my university days. I love singing and listening to music, as well as going for walks which is a new found hobby which I find to be very therapeutic. I'm not a good swimmer, although it's a hobby that I'd really like to develop amongst other sports. I love cats as well; I find them to be very adorable. I speak English, Kiswahili, Luo, a bit of Mandarin and I'm also interested in learning Italian. I've been to Tanzania, China, Italy, Austria and Czech Republic for study and tourism purposes. From this program, I wish to experience life and cultures different from my own, because I believe that every culture is beautiful, and we have a lot to learn from each other.
