Dear host family, My name is Maryann Anyango juma,aged 23 years old and also a Kenyan citizen by birth.I am a creative and ambitious young woman who has a lot of ideas and dreams to achieve great things . I just did my social work and community development certificate and I am looking forward to further my studies if given the chance.I am very fluent in English which will make it easier for me to adapt to your lifestyle and needs.I find your request for an AuPair matching with my interest and everything I would want from a host family. About my family,I come from a household of five children,three boys and two girls,me being the firstborn.My mother is a very hardworking house wife ,I am who I am because of her while my dad is a mechanic working in a private enterprise.I have a good relationship with my younger siblings since I have been like a second mother to them and growing up with them I have learned to be calm under stressful situation and solve problems amicably. Coming from a big family I have learned and gained experience on how to take care of children and duties and responsibilities that come with them.such responsibilities/duties include; *Preparing meals for the family. *Providing care to a child when they are sick or upset. *Helping in maintaining the house by dusting, washing dishes and doing laundry. *Helping children complete their homework. *Taking children to the park, swimming classes and also to the library. *Picking up the children from school. In addition to that I also volunteered to work at a kindergarten before I joined college as a way of giving back to the community.
