MICHAELA, 27 ÅR

My name is Michaela, 27 years old, from General Santos City, Philippines. I would like to show my interest in becoming an Aupair in your family. I am the eldest daughter in our family, so I grew up taking on the responsibility of looking after my younger brother. With that experience, I am eager to help take care of your children, learn about your culture, and share my own background with you. Living abroad is a dream that I really want to achieve. I’ve been dreaming of visiting new places, meeting new people, exploring new cultures, and learning different languages. I used to have online students from France, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Japan, and other countries, and meeting them on screen makes me want to step out of my comfort zone and see what’s in there. Aside from that, I also want to help my mother and ask her to go home as she is working as a domestic helper in the Middle East. My brother and I grew up without a father, and our mother raised us alone. I have this urge to really help her financially because she is not getting any younger. I have experience with teaching and childcare as I previously worked as an ESL teacher, also known as an online English teacher for almost 6 years, so I learned how to get along with kids. As an ESL teacher, my main job is to set a fun and warm atmosphere where students can learn English comfortably. I also enjoy spending time with them through activities like drawing, dancing, and singing. And as a culinary graduate, I also worked as a commis chef in one of our prestigious hotels in my city and worked as a part-time assistant cook in a food house here for almost 5 years as well. With those experiences, I can assist you not only in household chores but also in preparing and making meals. Driving and strolling around the city, cooking, dancing, singing and even swimming are just some hobbies that I love to do. I also love pets for I have 3 dogs at home and I treat them as my children. Aside from my diploma, I also have a certificate in Basic Training with different courses such as basic first aid, firefighting, CPR and personal safety and survival. I am a passport holder and have a Philippine driver’s license. Also single without a child. I look forward to the possibility of meeting you and discussing how I can support your family!
