MILDRED, 25 ÅR

I am Mildred Sales, 25 years old and a Psychology graduate. I’m living independently now in the city and exploring new things, experiences and places on my own. My father is an OFW in Qatar while my loving mother is a housewife and living at the province with our dogs. My sister does live with me at an apartment here in Pasig City working as an admin. I am working as a supervisor or a team leader in a BPO company (Customer Service Team/ Call Center) where I supervise the agents and coach them about our work and policies and if they have mark downs about their quality audits. About my childcare experience, I have 2 nieces that I took care of when the pandemic hit. I helped them with their homework in their online classes. We also enjoyed being with each other. As there’s a farm on the back of our compound, we had a place to play outside as well as playing some indoor games like cards and their coloring books. We also tried cooking and baking new recipes that we find online as our bonding. The primary motivation behind my desire to participate in the Cultural Exchange program was my belief that I possess the necessary abilities and skills to be an au pair. As a free-spirited individual who enjoys exploring new things and getting along with people, being an au pair is a great way for me to have such unique experiences outside my home country.
