JESSAMIN, 25 ÅR

Dear Host Family, My name is Jessamin. I am single, and I do not have any kids. I am a college graduate. I came from a family of five. My father is Judy, he is deceased, and my mother is Evangeline, she is a farmer. I have two sisters. I am a flexible, punctual, reliable, and self-motivated young girl. I do love cooking, gardening, hiking, camping, and traveling. I play volleyball during my free time, and I love walking and playing with kids and dog. My first employment is here in the Philippines. I started on August 7, 2022. I have a wonderful employer. I worked for their family as a babysitter and domestic helper. My task is to attend to the children´s needs. Put them to sleep and feed them. We do a lot of things, like singing, dancing, drawing, painting, playing, assist the kids with their school assignments. I´m taking care of three kids, aged 7 years old, 6 years old, and 5 years old. Aside from childcare, I am responsible for other tasks, such as preparing the family's breakfast, lunch, and dinner, cleaning the house, and organizing closets and kitchen cabinets. Washing dishes, doing the ironing, and washing clothes. Organizing and tidying the living room area. I want to become an Au Pair because of its several benefits and advantages. It is a great opportunity for me to experience one-of-a kind real-life experiences, such as traveling to different countries, especially Europe. I am eager to immerse myself in the culture and learn the language, which are helpful in broadening my perspective on life and widening my knowledge and skills. I can also meet and gain new friends from all over the world and learn from them. Another reason is that I would also like to learn to cook European cuisine. Becoming an Au Pair will help me become more independent and will allow me to see myself, other people, and life from a completely different perspective.
