Dear My Future Host Family: I am writing to express my interest in applying as an Au Pair in your family. I am a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering degree graduate at Jose Rizal University, a University specializing in Information & Communications Technology and Engineering. I had accomplished two Programs from Google under the Department of Information and Communications Technology Scholarship Program (DICT) namely the IT Support Specialist and the Foundations of Project Management respectively. We are three in the family. I have two sisters and I am the only son. We are living a simple and happy life. I take good care of my auntie who is a Person with Disability (PWD). I also take good care of our neighbor's children and babies whenever they both are at work and their children and babies were left at home. At an early age I was already exposed in different household chores (all around) despite of my gender being male, also I have so much love for the children, especially taking good care of them, teaching them the good manners and right conduct, see them happy, see them smile, see them respecting their parents, and see them grow with good manners, possesses morale, and see them soaring high for their dreams. I am also an adventurous type of person in terms of learning and travelling. I don’t just want to experience but to embrace and to dive into the culture of any country. The candidate should host me, because I already have the experience of doing household chores (all around) and babysitting despite of my gender being male. One thing I am proud of is the fact that our neighbor's put so much trust on me for taking good care of their children and babies and that is something that I highly appreciated and valued. And if given a chance I would love to do the same to your family especially to your children. I want to become an Au Pair not just only for the opportunity to travel but above all the opportunity and privilege to know the culture and learn the language, to embrace and to dive into the rich, vibrant, and colorful culture abroad, in-exchange of light household chores and babysitting duties which I personally love. I am a Licensed Electronics and Communications Technician and a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator Technical Class. I am a person of simplicity, hardwork, passion, humbleness, morale, and values. I am also great in planting fruit bearing trees, flowers, vegetables and many others. My interests varies from Engineering and Science to Telecommunications Infrastructure and Construction and Engineering Management. My hobbies are reading law books, swimming, playing badminton, volleyball, hiking, biking, planting, cooking, baking, and watching documentaries. After my Au pair, if given the opportunity I would want to continue studying the language deeply and if along the way opportunity comes in, I would definitely want to work to provide the needs of my family, for my family.
