My name is Princess Sarah Ugwu, a 21-year-old from Nigeria, and I am deeply excited about the chance to become a part of your family. Caring for children has always brought me immense joy, and I’ve gained valuable experience over the years that has shaped me into the dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking person I am today. I have faced rejection in the past,unfortunately, some of these rejections have been because of the color of my skin. As the eldest of three siblings, I’ve grown up naturally stepping into a caregiving role. After high school, I worked as a babysitter for a full year, where I took care of children by preparing their meals, doing laundry, bathing them, helping with homework, and ensuring their happiness and safety. My love for children goes beyond responsibilities—it’s about being there for them, teaching them new things, and building bonds that bring comfort and joy to their lives. Becoming an au pair means so much to me. I see it as more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to immerse myself in your culture, share mine, and build lasting connections. In addition to my childcare experience, I have a first aid certification, can ride a bicycle, and enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening.
