We are excited to welcome a caring and responsible "big sister" to join our family in the vibrant heart of New York City! Our family consists of two wonderful children, ages 3 and 4, who bring lots of joy and energy into our home. The role of a big sister in our family is essential to creating a nurturing and supportive environment, and we are looking for someone to step into this role with a genuine love for children and a commitment to helping us raise them with patience and affection. The schedule for the big sister will be Monday through Friday, giving you weekends to explore and enjoy everything the city has to offer. We take pride in maintaining a calm, peaceful, and loving household where we prioritize emotional well-being, affection, and consistent guidance for our kids. We are looking for someone who shares these values—someone who is mature, grounded, and leads a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, we prefer that you feel comfortable with the fact that our children have limited media exposure, as we focus more on creative play, learning, and outdoor activities. While we have a cleaning service that takes care of all the deep cleaning in the home, including the bathroom you would use, we expect everyone in the household to contribute to daily tasks. This would include things like washing dishes after meals, taking out the trash, and other light chores to help keep our home running smoothly. As both children are in school, we will need your help in the mornings to get them ready and take them to school, which is conveniently located close to our home. You will have access to an au pair car for this purpose, so being comfortable driving is a must. If you don’t currently know how to drive, don’t worry—we just ask that you are open and willing to learn!
