GUNN

They are Markus at 5 years old, Jasmin at 3.5 years old, Elias at 10 months old, me, Gunn Elin, at almost 34 years old and Karl Ivar (Kalle) at almost 67 years old. We live in Sweden, about 300 km north of Østersund. In November we moved here, to kalle's childhood home. Before that we lived in Norway. I am Norwegian, the children both Norwegian and Swedish and Kalle Swedish. Kalle also has 3 daughters from before, but they are adults and do not live with us. We travel to Norway every now and then, so there will be opportunities to experience both countries and cultures. In terms of language, Swedish and Norwegian are quite similar. We mostly understand each other. The 2 oldest children go to kindergarten 3 days a week. Otherwise we are mostly at home. Then we use nature, and are a lot outdoors with the children. In the winter we go on snowmobile trips, light fires and barbecues, ice fishing, skiing, sledding and other winter activities. Otherwise there is cycling, swimming, hiking, boating and fishing, hunting, to name a few. We have a small farm that we maintain and put in order. There's a lot of work involved. The plan eventually is to have a little more animals than a dog. At least cats, chickens and pigs, and maybe goats. As you can see, we are very busy with the children. Many plans, and no time left. That's why we need help. So an au pair will be absolutely perfect for us! We all love to travel, and are curious about other cultures and nations.
