Dear Host Family, I am excited to apply for the au pair position with your lovely family! As a Zimbabwean with a passion for childcare and cultural exchange, I am confident that I would contribute as a wonderful addition to your household. With 3 years since I attended high school, I have that much of experience in caring for children in my family living as well as within my community of diverse families. I occupy my time with renewal of my physical (sprints, push ups and boxing training) and mental frame (reading books, watching podcasts, engaging in random conversations) and my goals are to calibrate the skills and patience to provide top-notch care for your little ones. My previous experience has taught me the importance of creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that fosters physical, emotional, and cognitive development. I am particularly drawn to this opportunity because you are a German-language speaking family in this World, you entail a culture that is foreign to my own Home culture. My position in the past 12 months has tailored learning to speak your language into a hobby, a lifestyle, as well as a reading skill, as I currently remain a Goethe A2 Certificate holder. Living within the German culture and engaging how best I fit into your community is intertwined into my daily aspirations as a 22 year Old, I am eager to immerse myself in your family's daily life, share my own culture, and learn from yours.
