SMILLA, 19 YEARS

Hello, I am Smilla and I think children are great!! I'll finish school in the summer of 2025 and before I continue studying or learning a job, I would like to learn from other people and life :-) A position as an au pair would be ideal for me because I can spend my time with children and at the same time get to know another culture and people. A few words about me: I live with my parents and my 6-year-old brother Fritz in Cologne, Germany. I also have a 3-year-old sister and a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old cousin, with whom I enjoy spending a lot of time and which I know in all its facets. It's always exciting to see how every age has its own phase. And I think it's important to keep that in mind when dealing with children. Because if you know, for example, that even a 6-year-old cannot yet control his anger, you can approach him with more understanding. And especially with my brother Fritz, I notice that I'm getting a lot further with this ;-) I go to an integrative comprehensive school and have already supervised a class trip for 6-10 year olds there and I had a lot of fun with that. I like how children think, their ideas and their open view of life. I enjoy being in nature, dancing ballet, running and generally doing sports. I also love healthy eating: I enjoy cooking, delighting my family with new smoothies and other treats, and I love baking Christmas cookies with my brother and his friends.
