CHANAKAN, 27 YEARS

Dear lovely host family, Greeting from Thailand. You can call me Kan. I am 25years i am working as a receptionist at resort my responsibility help and service children and family also took the children do to activity of resort My close friend and co-worker described me as a talkative, generous, patient, friendly, easy going, gentle, cheerful ,creative person. I am open-minded girl who try to learn new things around me. outdoor activities such as hiking, picnic, camping as where I live are surrounded by mountain. At home, About childcare experiences, I have trained at Bann Moo Si (Government school). I volunteered to take care of 29 children from K.1-3 ,aged about 3 years old to 6 years old. The school mixed with boys and girls. I had fun doing many things with children. The students always tell me that I was a kind teacher and that made my day hearing that. What I have learned from the school is the behavior of each child, how to give them positive punishment, and how to train them to help themselves. I have also learned to use creativity to make school hours fun for children. I read books or told them stories, took care of them when they were eating, played with them on the playground, and created games to test their physical fitness. Another childcare experiences, I have been a babysitter for my neighbor since November 2020. I took care of a baby names Phutawan, starting from the age of 7 months. My responsibilities were changing her diaper, cook food for her, feed her, try to speak to her. Since we lived near by, sometimes, her mother would drop Phutawan at my house when she was busy. The reason why I would like to be an Au pair, firstly I expect to improve and learning other language for my future career and graduation which require good language skill. However, I found out that my skill doesn’t good enough. I think Au pair program can help me to reach my goal by take some interesting language courses, learning with native speaker, so I would like to be a part of an American family. Secondly this program gives me a chance to gain the wonderful experience. Lastly because I love children who need someone to take a good care of their development; which both of their body and brain and I think I can do it very well.
