NOTHABISO, 23 YEARS

Motivation to host families I am Nothabiso Bethu Simelane, a lady of twenty- three years currently in Piggs Peak, Eswatini. I have completed my high school at my local institution and I have been accepted at one of my local institution for an association Degree in Hotel Management. I am currently undertaking a short course for a practitioner's certificate in working with children with special needs. I took up a social work because I wanted to be an advocate for the children in my society since I had been quick to realize the eccentric impunity and fragility of their being whilst. Now endeavoring into this course my heart was at family preservation first for children to physical grow in, to learn morality from their parents and other family members to be aware of their culture and be proud of it. I have volunteered my service throughout my course of study, engaging with children of all ages from as little as 3 years to teenagers well in their adolescent years. Learning from them how they carry themselves, watching them playing an marvelling at the skills. I eagerly looking forward to every opportunity I get to be around children. Now the aupairing program is an opportunity for me to continue being around children from a different culture background from mine. What a thrilling experience that would be! I would not only get the fitful effort to learn and know a new language with which I can get to impact the lives of my host family. I am ecstatic at the thought of the rich cultural experience will be getting from this experience with my host family all together and hopefully share some of my culture knowledge too.
