HELENA, 25 YEARS

Hi! My name is Helena and I’m a 21 year old girl from Norway!

I don’t have any experience as an Au Pair, but I have a ton as a babysitter. In addition, I am educated as a health worker, so I have experience with both older and younger people, various diseases, special needs and so on. At the moment I’m working in home care! Also have a lot of experience working at nursing homes and facilities for people with psychical disabilities.

I’m a very caring and patient girl, who loves children. I’m willing to help out with pretty much anything, and I’m not afraid of a little challenge;) I loooove children, always have. Ever since I was little I’ve pretty much always gotten a good contact with kids, whether it´s kids we know, or some random child I met when we were on a family holiday. I’ve been babysitting a lot since I was pretty young, at first mostly neighbors kids when I was like 11- 15. Also some of my counsins children. As I got older I started to babysit more "random" children, as I joined this babysitting website here in Norway, where you basically are able to find babysitter / families and send them a message. I have experience with children from only 3 months old, to about 12 years old. But anything from newborn to 16 is okay by me, even 18 if that isn´t awkward for the teenager. I’m a very caring person who loves to help others. When it comes to babysitting or au pair things, I’m down for pretty much anything. As long as the child is happy, whether it’s just staying inside watching a movie, going to a playground, going on a hike, camping, amusement parks (even though I´m not a big fan of roller coasters etc haha). If it’s of interest, I can always give you the emails of some of the parents of kids I’ve been babysitting here in Norway, as a referance.

I’d love to get as much out of this as possible. Obviously some alone time and time to be with friends, take a roadtrip etc to get to see more of the country would be amazing, but I’m also a sucker for family time and doing things together.

Something that’s worth mentioning is that I have diabetes type 1, and celiac disease! None should be much of a problem, I need a gluten free diet and need my medications. My diabetes is well taken care of.


When it comes to how long I’d want to stay and when, I have to let my job now 3 months before leaving, so the earliest I can do is like February! Depending on when I leave, I’d love to stay close to 2 years. I need to go back to Norway at the end of May 2022, since my big brother is getting married that summer.
