Dear Host Family, My name is Phoebe Muthoni, a 19-year-old from Nairobi, Kenya, and I am excited about the opportunity to join your family as an au pair. I did very well in high school but, unfortunately, could not continue to college due to financial constraints. However, my strong academic performance helped me secure a job as a teacher. Alongside this, I work as a part-time babysitter and tutor, which has given me valuable experience in caring for and teaching children of various ages. I am passionate about working with children and would love the chance to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them. Becoming an au pair also represents a unique opportunity to broaden my horizons through cultural exchange, form lasting friendships, and embrace new perspectives.
