EUNICE, 22 YEARS

Dear Host Family It’s so exciting to be able to write to you, to give you a better idea of who I am and what I’m like as a person. My name is Eunice.I am 21 years old and from Kenya . I live with my parent a single mom, and my siblings now live in a separate house different cities.We spend most of our holidays together at our family house away from the city. My family describe me as a dependable person because I am great at time management and also hardworking and flexible. I have acquired a certificate in Hospitality and I worked in a hotel as a receptionist for two years after my studies. (I have a good knowledge of English and I speak fluently)I am planning to enroll for my diploma course in Hotel Management but I have decided to take a gap year before the commencement of my degree course and be part of an aupair because of the love I have for children. My choice is based on my interest in learning different culture beyond what I have read in books and experience it firsthand. I also intend to learn the language of my host family. I love to experience diverse culture and even when I stay here in my country I have that curiosity of being in a foreign environment to experience the new culture and new perspective of life and grow professionally because of gaining a lot of exposure I would describe myself as a reliable, responsible, open-minded, easy-going, dedicated and caring person.once we get to know each other personally, you will realise that I am bubbly, open and have a unique personality. Being creative and imaginative is something I really enjoy since it allows me to freely express myself and with confidence, I want to be Au Pair because I love children and I enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and well aware of the fact that i will be like a big sister to your children comes along with other responsibilities for them, you and your home. I am a very committed and humble person. I always try my best for everyone and I always give as much love and support as I possibly can. And also I want to enjoy life away from home lol. I have been helping out my neighbors with their children both day and night shift when they are at work and I volunteer in Sunday school program helping the church with children by entertaining them, reading them a verse, organizing them, giving them food and doing fun activities such as singing, dancing , drawing, painting and animal naming. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them. For me safety, health and happiness of children are most important. My hobbies are reading novels, arts, drawing, dancing, cooking and listening to music. During my free time, I like going for a nature walk or when am near the beach I like taking a walk there in the morning and evening. I really love watching the sunrise and sunset so mostly I like to be outside at that time or watch it through the window or balcony if it can be seen.My friends describe me as adventurous, energetic and eager to learn new skills. I am highly interested to become an Au pair for your family. I believe I’m capable of being a good Au Pair for your family because I am responsible, trustworthy and most of all family-oriented.
