SYLIVIA, 21 YEARS

Hello, My name is Sylivia, and I’m a 21 year old from Tanzania. I am the third child out of four in my family and growing up in a big household surrounded by siblings and cousins has helped me to be understanding and getting along with people. Growing up I played a great role in taking care of my younger siblings and cousins which taught me patience, adaptability and how to connect with kids. Even now I still look after my younger cousins, niece and nephews. I am a warm, responsible, and empathetic individual who loves working with children and exploring new cultures. Becoming an Au Pair is a dream for me because it combines my passion for childcare with the opportunity to experience life in a new country. I would love to become part of your family and help care for your children. I have experience babysitting and assisting kids with homework and school projects, which has taught me the importance of patience and creativity. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks, like cooking meals or tidying up, to make your daily life easier. One of the things I’m most excited about is sharing my Tanzanian culture with you and your children whether it’s teaching Swahili words, showcasing traditional dances, or cooking delicious Tanzanian dishes. At the same time, I am eager to learn your family’s culture, language, and traditions.
