LAVINE, 18 YEARS

Hello Future Host Family, I hope all is good I am Lavine Adhiambo, 19 year old from Kenya just finished School recently and thought that this was a good time to experience Aupair as it involves working with children that I really love doing and I will also be able to experience different cultures and a new language both of which I love doing.I am ready to start anytime from 1st of May 2025 and I am a valid passport holder. I would really want to become an Aupair and experience a new culture and learn a new language and also share my culture with my future host family if allowed to,I am a Native English speaker and very fluent in it, I do not speak any foreigner language but I’m very much willing to learn it. 📍_*CHILD CARE EXPERIENCE *_ 1.I love working with kids and my childcare experience includes taking care and playing with my younger brother and nieces,doing different activities with them and also helping them with their homework from Math to English to Sciences. Helping them with chores, cooking meals together, leaning to bake with them and trying out new recipes 2. I’ve also been volunteering in a daycare throughout high school during school holidays and Im still continuing with helping out with the children now that I’m done with High School and I would help out with the following activities; • Building and Making learning charts for the children for counting with both numbers and letters. • Making sure the children had the right attires for outdoor activities such as riding the bicycle and playing football. • Giving a helping hand with serving their food and snacks during meal time. • Keeping order in the Daycare and light cleaning after the children left for their homes. 📍_WHAT I BRING WITH ME_* I bring with me playfulness, flexibility to the family’s schedule, I can ride a bicycle and I can also help the children with their school work. I can help preparing light foods for the kids, packing their breakfasts and lunch and also ready to learn on how to cook big meals for the family. I can also help out with light house chores at home, doing Laundry and folding them afterwards, filling up the dishwasher and also emptying it and also any other chore that I might be required to help with. I can help with dropping the children to School and picking them up and I can also help out with keeping order around the house. I don’t just want to come as a one year Aupair but as a new family member, a new team member. I would also love to join the family on their activities both indoors and outdoors as this will help me to easily bond with my future host family and especially with the children and to also experience different new activities in a new country. I do not smoke and I also do not drink alcohol and I can also work with a single parent household. I am an honest person, trustworthy, reliable and most importantly flexible, I’m open to communication and being taught new things and new way of doing them.
