FAITH, 21 YEARS

Dear Host Family, I hope this message finds you well .My name is Faith Wangui ,I'm 21 years old ,and i am from Kenya .I currently live with my parents and siblings ,and i am eager for the opportunity to come to your country and become a part of your family. I have valuable experience working with children between the ages of 1 and 12. I have often babysat my sister’s daughter, which has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and care. My duties included getting her ready for school, picking her up, helping her with schoolwork, and making sure she was well-fed. I was also responsible for making sure she followed her routine, such as bath time and playtime, with her favorite activity being hide and seek. These moments with her have shaped my love for working with children and made me more attentive to their needs, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and nurtured. In addition to my childcare experience, I know the importance of respecting boundaries and adapting to the routines and expectations of the household. I am confident with handling light house chores like tidying up, cooking simple meals, doing laundry, and keeping the house organized. I am happy to assist wherever needed to ensure the family environment runs smoothly. I am also an eager learner and take pride in continuously developing myself. I have completed a Cabin Crew course through IATA, which has given me strong communication and interpersonal skills. I’ve also taken a Barista course, which further honed my attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments. My experience in these different fields has taught me to be flexible, adaptable, and responsible. I am friendly, open-minded, and excited about the opportunity to share my culture and learn about yours.
