KEUNNA, 22 YEARS

I am a 20 year-old Au Pair looking for cultural exchange in German-speaking countries. Dear host family, I'm Keunna. I'm from the Philippines, and I would love to be your au pair. I have never been an au pair before, but it's always been one of the things on my bucket list. I am good with dealing with kids because I've always been the one to care for my younger cousins since I'm considered the eldest and my relatives cannot afford one, and they all stay with us. Traveling, immersing myself in a new language and culture, meeting new people, especially children (who I love so much because they make me happy) is how I picture the best days of my life are. Though I'm a German citizen, I can only speak a little German, and I would like to improve it since my goal is to study in Germany. I speak fluent English (C2) and a little German (A1). I am a dual citizen, Filipino and German citizen. Rest assured that I won't act like a guest who will just laze around the house but as a new member of the family who will help around. I am used to doing chores around the house because I'm an only child, and my parents disciplined me to be clean, responsible, and independent. I am flexible and enthusiastic but serious and detail-oriented in situations that call for it. I would love to get to know you and meet you.
