NIKKA, 26 YEARS

Dear Host Family, thank you for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Nikka (26 years old), currently employed as an office staff in private company. I live in Metro Manila Philippines, and Living with my family of 5: My mama is house helper, 2 older brothers are working and while the younger brother is still in high school student. A little story about me is when I was in high school I took care of our youngest brother. As my parents worked as house helpers/nanny that time and my papa is a janitor/ warehouse maintenance who only came home every weekend because it was difficult to go home every day, so he stayed in the company building. That’s all we can help our parents by caring for and helping each everyone at that time, also used to go with my mama to work during semester break to experience it. Fast forward now, my biggest inspiration in all hardest ships is my parents who worked throughout while we are studying and now we are working. Presently, I would like to become an Au Pair to learn about the host family's culture. To help my future host family with their children’s, household chores and to experience living in another country and being a part of a foreign family. As of now, I am looking for an opportunity of being an Au Pair for cultural experience. I believe that everything is a learning experience and being an Au Pair would give me an opportunity to learn and experience more about life across the globe. If a good host family would give me a chance, this will be my first time as an Au Pair and being an Au Pair will not only give me a huge stepping stone for my future will also give me a chance to showcase my experiences and for me to share the best care possible that I can give to other people families that needs it.
