ROXANNE, 26 YEARS

Good Day! I hope this letter finds you well  Dear Future Host Family, I am writing to express my genuine interest in joining your family as an au pair. My name is Roxanne, but my friends and family call me Roxy. I am a 26 years old girl, single and I live in Seguinon Albuera Leyte, a small town in Albuera, one of the beautiful country in Philippines. I am an open-minded, hard-working, easy-going, dedicated, trustworthy, helpful, patient, and responsible person. I love taking care of kids and their health, safety, and happiness are the most important to me. It's my first time to join au pair program. I believe that through this program will help me to grow, learn and step forward from my comfort zone. In addition, living with children is nothing new to me because at home, we are currently living with an 8 years old niece and 2 years old nephew I took good care them when I have a rest day since they’re a baby. I graduated year 2019 from Western Leyte College, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management. I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures, meeting new people, and definitely making memories. My very calm, collected, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations. I would describe my strength as an Au pair as the ability to bond really well with kids and also blending in very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big sister, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an Au pair is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them. I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family. I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids.
