LERRY, 25 YEARS

Dear future host family, My name is Lerry Joy. I am a 25 years old female from the Philippines. I have a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. I am the daughter of a fisherman and a domestic helper. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I am the 2nd from the eldest. I lived and worked in the Philippines as a domestic helper for a Filipino family with 3 young kids. My daily duties include keeping the rooms tidy and clean, doing laundry and ironing clothes, putting the kids to sleep, light shopping, washing dishes, and cooking for the family. Taking care of pets. My primary chore is to take care of the kids, 2 boys ages 2 and 3, and a 5-year-old girl, helping the kids with personal hygiene and spending time with the 3 little ones when they are at home. I pride myself on my honesty and gentle nature. I am easy to get along with, taking pleasure in helping and caring for others to the best of my ability. I have always had a love for children and have found that they are naturally drawn to me. I enjoy listening to good music, reading books, singing, dancing, and tasting new food.
