BLESSMA, 26 YEARS

Good day, I am Blessma Joy Abenes, also known as Teacher Blessy to my primary students. I am a Filipino national currently living and teaching in Thailand. As the eldest in my family, I grew up managing household chores and teaching my younger siblings basic life skills like cooking and cleaning—though they’re now better cooks than I am! Coming from a close-knit family, I also cared for several younger cousins while their parents were working. I taught them to read, write their names, and play board games, which eventually helped them compete in various school competitions. Realizing how much I enjoyed teaching and being with kids, I pursued a degree to become a Science teacher. While I love Science, working with young children has always held a special place in my heart. It would be an exciting adventure to share a home with your family, exchange cultures, help with household chores, and care for your little ones.
