DAICA, 26 YEARS

Dear host family, First of all I would like to thank you that you take the time to read my letter. With this letter I would like to bring you closer to my life. I will try as best as possible to describe my life here, my wishes and dreams, my friends and family and of course myself. My name is Daica Jana 24 years old . Im living in the beautiful province in the Philippines Bukidnon. I was raised with my grandparents and they taught me a lot of things to be kind and respectful person . When they past away, I started to live with my relatives and taking care of siblings , it helps me to become a hardworking person and being a sub parent to their kids. I have a very loving relationship to all of them, what becomes pretty noticeable by the way we’re dealing to each others, such as we love going to beaches ,play volleyball by team and sing high note song like beyonce song . It very true that Filipino is a good singer and enjoyable people a lot of tourist visit Philippines because here its more fun in the Philippines because of our genuine heart and smile. And I wanna bring joy and laughter to my Host Family too. For giving you a first impression of me I want to start telling you something about me and my personality: I would describe me as a reliable, friendly, positive , flexible and open-minded woman who is interested in getting to know new countries and people. In my spare time , I love singing and listening beyonce songs then singing my heart out even though the weather started getting bad hahaha. And i love Dancing too, do some choreography and teach my friends and family when we have event competition like Christmas party, new years eve. So Obviously I came from a Joyful family I’m persuaded of being able to be a good Au-Pair, because I’ve always been loving children and I had the chance to gain experiences with children in lots of different scopes. Now I would like to tell you something about my experiences with children. In July 2021 I was hired by a friend to take care of her 2 kids aged 1 and 4 . My duties are preparing breakfast, do laundry , teach the kids educational activities and play with them outdoors , Bedtime routine too.We played games, ate together, sang songs, read out for the kids and played in the big garden every day. It was a helpful experience for me to care for so many kids at the same time. Moreover I have a lot of baby cousins, siblings thats why i love being with the kids . They are all at the age of 6 to 14. And all of them are top of their classes. Here's are my following Skills. Active communication -I’ve always prioritized communication and becoming a more effective communicator. Adaptability -I’m a very flexible person. Regardless of the situation, I always strive to get result Positivity - My positive attitude has always helped me overcome problems. Organized- I prioritize my work efficiently and effectively and meet deadlines Patience- I do listen before I speak with Good manners , I do understand that theres no such thing as perfect in this world . I remain calm in difficult and challenging situation Flexible - I can easily adapt to a new environment and will be able to integrate quickly What I like the most is my positivity ,I fall down seven times ,but I get up eight Because of my strong faith and positive attitude I always overcome my struggles and challenges in life. In conclusion, I would like to thank you very much for taking your time to get to know me better. I am looking forward to being an Au Pair and also a family member in your family and to spend a great and unforgettable year that will be treasured forever.
