MARIANE, 26 YEARS

Hello! Kamusta! (“how are you? “--in Filipino) My name is Mariane and I'm from the Philippines. Im turning 25 early next year. I'm single and a college graduate. I'm very interested in culture and such, that’s why I'm looking up for a kind, fun and warm host family that will allow me to join their family and share my culture, traits and personality, as well as help them in household chores and taking care of their kids. I'm a simple young woman who dreams to explore other country and experience their culture. And being an Aupair is a good opportunity for me to achieve my dream. I just finished my study last 2018. Right now I'm looking for any possibilities working/exploring outside my home country. About me, I grew up in a simple but warm typical Filipino household, composed of my Dad, Mom and three sisters and one brother. I'm the youngest. My Father used to work as a waiter in a Cruise ship in the USA, so I've got many interesting stories from him whenever he traveled because of work. He is a disciplinarian and help me a lot in decision making and being responsible on my own. While My Mom is a loving housewife who influenced my character so much. She’s my number one supporter who taught me a lot on being kind and loving towards other. My sisters are my best friends and my role model. They study really hard and also work hard after, to help me support on my studies. And now that I've graduated I also want to return their kindness even though they gave it to me unconditionally . I also love doing household chores. My Mom taught me to be responsible and tidy up my own mess. I also learn to cook because of my Dad. My Dad is a super chef. I mean he cooks delicious simple meal that always brings happiness to all of us. We are a Family who loves to eat and hang out most of the time at our kitchen. Lately my Sisters are busy on their own. They don't live with us anymore. And my brother just got married 8 years ago, so now I have a niece and nephew. A 7 years old boy and a 2 years old girl, they are both bubbly and smart kid. My brother's family is living with us right now. That's why I mostly hang out with my energetic niece and nephew. I love taking care of cute young kiddos. My niece and nephew are very interesting individuals that have super energy from morning till night. Both of his parents are working right now so I always had to take care of them and just love playing with them all day long. He or she is uncontrollable sometimes but also very sweet and loving. I know that the main duties of an Au Pair is taking good care of kids and it is one of my best interests. I also have experience working as a cashier in an amusement park for 3 months so I have good communication skills with people. I stopped working because of the pandemic. My workplace is one of the affected establishments that needed to close because of covid. But now that the world is trying to return as it was before so I also try my luck to look for any opportunities outside my home country again. I am a dream driven type of person but with a kind and honest heart. I'm also responsible and have sense to act quickly(decision making) if bad circumtances comes up.
