ANDREA, 28 YEARS

My name is Andrea, and I am a Filipina currently living in the Philippines. I am looking for a host family to stay with, and I would love to be your next au pair. Family is an essential element of my life, and I appreciate it because I come from a two-child family. I want to think of myself as someone hardworking, reliable, fun, and kind. I love children, and to me, children are like a fountain of joy. I can never get enough of their lovely, innocent personalities and truthfulness. Since it offers a cultural setting that is distinct from mine, I am interested in experiencing a new family life. Learning a new language and culture would be amazing. I majored in marketing, which includes interacting with and assisting others. My work as an insurance coordinator has been quite beneficial in helping me manage administrative responsibilities and comprehend all types of people with various needs. I guess one of my favorite things to do is work on papers. I'm incredibly detail-oriented. I enjoy interacting with others, not just at work. My strength as an au pair is my ability to connect effectively with children and fit in effortlessly. As a result, I can be their big sister and mentor in several facets of life, as well as having the capacity to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an au pair, which is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get emotionally attached to people—especially children—too much and find it difficult to separate from them. I am looking for a host family that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind and welcoming, and be willing to learn a new culture and language.
