ANGEL, 24 YEARS

My name is Angel, and I am 24 years old. I am from the beautiful Philippines, where I was raised with strong family values, a love for community, and a genuine passion for helping others. I am excited to introduce myself to you as I begin my journey to become an au pair and experience life in a different country, while sharing my culture and learning from yours. I come from a warm, tight-knit family, where I grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and the importance of taking care of each other. As the eldest in my family, I’ve always been actively involved in looking after my younger siblings/cousins or helping around the house. I have also helped take care of our family friend's daughter from when she was 4 months old to 5 years old. I would describe myself as responsible, caring, and patient. I believe in the importance of being positive and finding joy in everyday activities, especially when working with children. I love interacting with them, whether it’s through playing games, helping with homework, or exploring their interests. I am also adaptable and open-minded, which helps me easily fit into different environments and handle challenges with ease. The idea of becoming an au pair excites me because it combines my love for children with my desire to explore new cultures and languages. Coming from a country as culturally rich as the Philippines, I know how valuable it is to share traditions and learn from others. As an au pair, I hope to not only help your family by taking care of your children but also to exchange cultural experiences that will benefit us all. I am also eager to improve my language skills. I speak fluent English and Tagalog/Filipino, and I’m motivated to learn your language during my stay. I believe that living with a host family is the best way to fully immerse myself in a new culture and language. In my free time, I love staying active and creative. Some of my hobbies include cooking, craft-making, listening to music and walking around the neighborhood. If you have pets, I can walk them around too. As an au pair, I am committed to providing your family with reliable and dedicated childcare.
