JAY ANNE, 29 YEARS

Letter to the family I go by the name Jay Anne, but my loved ones refer to me as "Je," "Anne," or "Ate Je," with "Ate" meaning older sister in our language. I'm a 28-year-old woman residing in Navotas, a small city in the Philippines. Presently, I hold the position of Personal Secretary to the owner of one of the well-known supermarket chains in the Philippines. Since 2018, I have been serving as a secretary to the company and their family. I discovered that working as an Au Pair provides an amazing chance to explore the world and experience diverse cultures and languages. As I approach my late twenties, I have made a conscious effort to become more inquisitive, energetic, and deeply interested in children. My goal is to contribute to shaping the next generation into individuals who are active, compassionate, gentle yet resilient, with the aim of guiding them to grow up with kindness in a world filled with chaos. Currently, I have no experience working as an Au Pair but I hope to gain some soon in order to assist parents with their daily responsibilities. I am well-suited for a role that involves both childcare and household chores, as I have a lot of experience in both areas. My upbringing with a single mother and three younger sisters gave me the opportunity to take care of my siblings while my mom was at work. Through this, I gained experience in multitasking and balancing childcare with household responsibilities.
