BIANCA, 25 YEARS

Good day! I am Bianca Paula Sophia I. Coning. I am 24 years old from the Philippines. I grew up in a beautiful town of Guiuan Eastern Samar. I was sorrounded with the most resilient people as we were able to experience the strongest typhoon in the world but we were able to rise up and continue living as if we didn't experience it at all. I am the youngest in family since my mom was already 46 years old when she had me and so I was blessed with nieces and nephews. I had a nephew and a niece that I took care since I was 10 or should I say most of my life. I was tasked to play with them, assist them when eating, help them sleep since their parents are mostly at work. When I was in high school I had a chance to join in doing tutor sessions with the less fortunate every weekend. Every summer I started doing the tutor sessions everyday as my family was able to find a helper for my niece and nephew but since the helper was nit staying in, I would also help my family to be there for the kids. When I was a senior high school student, I was sent to the City. I was living with a family with two kids that I need to assist with even if I was going to school. One was in kindergarten and one was in 8th grade. I was with them for 2 years, assigned for their food, bringing them to school, doing errands, tutor sessions and many more. Since they were transferring to a new location I had to say good bye to them. As I was alone in the city I engage in the community activities as I was part if a Youth Ministry and as the pandemic happened I was back home doing my duties as the aunt of the kids.
