LOOKING FOR A HOST FAMILY
Dear Host Family,
My name is Irish Mae Sordilla, 26 years old (female) born and living in Bukidnon, a landlocked province located in the Mindanao Region of the Philippines.
I came from a family of 5 and we had 1 dog. I am the middle child, 2nd oldest among all of 3 siblings. I have 2 sisters, the oldest and the youngest (we are all daughters). Both of my parents are alive and healthy. My younger sister and I are still living with our parents, but I go home only every weekend because of work. My older sister already had her own family. I have a 4 year-old niece and a 2 year-old nephew.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration around the year 2019. During my college days, I worked as a part-time cashier at a small convenience store near our place to sustain my daily expenses. I work during the day and go to school at night (night school). When I finished college, I immediately applied and got hired for full-time work at a Lending Company as an Accounting Staff that lasted for 8 months due to lockdown when the pandemic hit. I got unemployed for a year and during those times, I decided to live with my sister and her family to help her babysit her child. She had only one child then, an 8-months old beautiful niece. I helped her babysit until my niece turned 1-year old when I got my new full-time job at a Marketing company as a Branch Cashier. I still visit my niece and nephew, and help my sister baby-sit during my day-offs. Taking care and giving gifts to her kids are one of the things that make me happy. I am sweet and caring especially to kids.
I also love taking walks in parks or with nature. I like admiring beautiful things such as sunsets and mountains but didn't have the time to hike or travel with nature because of work. I am respectful, trustworthy, and organized. I am also open-minded and love learning new things, culture and languages which is the reason why I want to be an Au Pair. I even watched a lot of Korean dramas and movies to learn their language but it didn't push through because I have no one to communicate and practice with their Language.
If I will be given a chance to be your Au Pair, rest assured that I will give my 100% love to your kids and will make great moments together. I know that we have different cultures and personalities but I will make sure that I'll embrace whatever differences we have.I am flexible on that matter. I want to be a part of your family as much as I want you to be a part of my journey in the future.
I have never been an Au Pair but I am very open to new opportunities and challenges.
Thank you for taking your precious time to read my letter and hoping to hear back from you.
With regards,
