GERNALYN, 25 YEARS

Dear Host Family, A warm hello to you and your family. I am Gernalyn and I am a 25-year-old single woman. I come from a family of four, my parents and my sister. I am the youngest. I´m a high school graduate. I have national certficate in caregiving (Caring for infants, toddlers, children and elderly). I have first aid training. Baking chocolate cupcake and banana muffin are some of my leisure interests. Currently, I work as a domestic helper here in the Philippines. I'll do the house cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping the floors, organizing closets, living area, and kitchen, and preparing breakfast. Washing, ironing and folding clothes. Help to cook dinner or prepare all the stuff needed for cooking. Playing and taking care of 2 kids aged 5 and 3 years old. Accompanying them during leisure activities. Help to prepare snacks. Assist with other home-based tasks as needed. Watering plants, taking care of pet, and light shopping. Washing dishes. I would like to work as an au pair because I feel that it combines my two passions in life: children and travel. I believe being an au pair would be putting my skills to the best possible use. I am energetic and organized person who just wants to experience European cultures and make good host family-au pair relationship. Creating good relationship and providing safe care to your children is very important to me and I will do that in my best way.
