My name is Jairo Lalic. I am 26 years old im single. I live in Tabuk City, Kalinga Philippines. I obtained a bachelor of Public Administration at Kalinga State University I would describe myself as open-minded,Kind ,proactive, flexible, hardworking, honest, responsible, caring, having a sense of humor. I have initiative,l'm energetic and adventurous, always willing to learn new things, and the thing that I really want about myself is that am a soft-hearted person, especially to children and the elderly, and happiness, health, and safety of children are most important to me. I live a balanced lifestyle that blends indoor and outdoor hobbies and activities, Indoors, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, watching vlogs about cooking and barista techniques, dancing to my favorite music, strumming on the guitar despite not being very skilled at it, expressing myself through painting and drawing, and getting lost in the captivating worlds of novels. Outdoors, I immerse myself in nature through photography and camping adventures, stay active through exercises and playing sports, and find tranquility in leisurely walks. My life is a tapestry woven with diverse interests and a passion for both the comforts of home and the wonders of the great outdoors. What more about me in terms of household work and everything, when I was a student before I was a working student, I lived with someone's family, and they supported me financially in my studies; in exchange for that, I worked with them. I did the household chores; I woke up early in the morning to do my daily routines as a working student. I did cooking, prepared breakfast before we started our day, and I also did cleaning, washing laundry, folding clothes, and ironing.I grew up living with someone's family, as an aspiring au pair, I already matured and very responsible in terms of my duties and responsibilities for living with someone's family. But I also want to experience living with other nationalities; I want to build some long-lasting relationships with the family, and I want to learn new things from them in life. Child care experiences newborn -10 years old, but I also consider 11-12 years old. My responsibilities and tasks are the following: *For a month-old baby, I can change diapers,babysit, sing to them until they fall asleep, I can carry them, take a bath,feed them, wash bottle sanitize important things of babies and make sure they have proper hygiene, so they feel comfortable. *Cleaning and ensuring that the children's rooms are clean and tidy. *Ensure that your kids are clean and have proper hygiene when I am taking care of them, because this is really important so that they always feel comfortable and fresh * Dropping the children to school and picking them up. *Cooking and preparing meals and things before going to school *Helping them with school activities and planning /watching educational activities, videos that we can both learn and have fun, like drawing, painting, coloring, and reading stories especially in the English language. I will also include baking because of my previous work experiences related in a food industry. *Playing outside like in park playground, and playhouse indoors for kids that offer them to learn and interact with other children through role-play. *Date outside, sometimes at the weekend, eating at their favorite fast food. *Doing household chores like cooking, washing dishes, laundry,ironing, vacuuming,cleaning the house, rooms,bathroom, kitchen area and outside the house, running errands. Where did I get those experiences? It started when I worked as a working student, and I have a lot of nephews and nieces to my cousin's, and when my sister gave birth to her first child in 2016, the second one was in 2018. After she gave birth to my nephew and niece, she became a single mother. So as a family, we help her to take care of the children even though I'm still a student at that time. She decided to work abroad in 2019, and she left the kids with our mom. And as I said, as a sister, I took on responsibilities to take care of my nephew and niece as well. I help our mom. And in 2020, when the pandemic started, I was at the university level, and I started living with someone's family again. Mrs. De Guzman asked me to stay with them. Due to the lack of internet connection because they started to do the online class, in exchange for that internet connection, I stayed with that family. They have 3 kids. When I stayed with them, their kids had around the same ages as my niece and nephew. It was my luck because Mrs. De Guzman was just taking care of the kids alone with her sister; her husband is working abroad. I stayed with them for 4 days in a week because I also needed to help my mom take care of my nephew and niece. This was my daily life before. Until they lifted the lockdown in 2022. That was also the year when I graduated from my university. And until now I still have responsibilities to my nephew and niece, the children of Mr./Mrs. De Guzman, I am very thankful to the family because of them and some of the family who I stayed with before. They are also part of my success. I finished my studies. So I'm very thankful; that's why nothing changed. I'm still the same; they can still count on me in terms of their kids. I'm still taking care of kids and treating them well. As an Aupair, I will make sure that they will learn good ethics with me, and I will make sure that I have initiative with everything, and especially that you give me a chance to be your Aupair, and to make sure to fulfill my duties and responsibilities to the children and to the host family.l genuinely love working with children because it makes me happy and thankful, even for a short period of time, because I am part of their life and living life. Dear host family,As an aspirant Aupair from the Philippines embarking on a cultural exchange program in any part of Europe countries is a life changing experience that offers profound personal,professional and cultural growth. Aupair journey goes beyond merely providing childcare and domestic assistance with a unique opportunity to immerse myself in the Europe countries way of living,learn new languages,Build a lasting relationship with the host family and with their children I choose European countries because history has a vibrant cultural scene,with numerous museums,theaters and festivals that celebrate its history and contemporary achievements The thing I want to experience is the daily life and family traditions of host family and I want to experience living with a European host family and the kids that I know can provide a unique window into the everyday life of new knowledge and experiences of my life,like actively participating in family activities, household work, taking care of their children, from shared meals to weekends outings, engaging in their holidays and traditions.| want to experience wand learn and gain new knowledge about Europe traditions and family backgrounds. As an Aupair, I will not just focus on experiencing cultural exchange, but also to make sure that I will be a big help and fulfill my duties and responsibilities as an aupair of a host family, who give me a chance to be part of their lovely family. If a host family gives me a chance to experience an aupair journey, it would be a big achievement for one of my millions of dreams to come true. After my au pair journey I will go back to the Philippines and make sure that I will continue to apply my knowledge and experiences in my future profession.
