DOMÉNICA, 25 YEARS

Hi dear future Host Family, my name is Doménica, I'm from Ecuador and I'm 24 years old. I'm a clinical psychologist and have experience with children in clinical practice. Throughout my career I have learned a lot about children, I love spending time with them and in my experience children like me a lot too. I know how to calm them down when they throw a tantrum (it takes a lot of patience and time), I know how to make them have fun and I consider myself a suitable and responsible person for taking care of children. I currently work as a tutor in a school for children with autism where I'm also trained as a therapist for these cases. I want to be an au pair because it is a combination of many things I like: being with children, sharing with family, traveling and learning a new language and culture. I want to have the experience of being part of a local family and living like a local from the host country, I want to share my time with children, make friends from many countries, and learn about different cultures.
