HI! I'M JESUS
Dear Host Family,
Before diving into details about myself, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I'm Jesús from the Dominican Republic (the Caribbean). I've had the pleasure of being an Au Pair for five families across Europe (Germany, Spain, and France). Now, I'm excited to bring my experience to Denmark. If you're looking for someone warm, responsible, and genuinely caring, I'm the right person for you.
People often say I'm very patient (which I consider a superpower) and determined—I always achieve my goals. Having grown up surrounded by many younger cousins and doing volunteer work in hospitals, I've been around children all my life. Helping others is very important to me. I'm confident your children will see me as a great friend and brother because I love kids, and they love me too. I enjoy playing with them, doing fun activities, and baking together. My mom, besides being a children's rights activist like me, is also a chef and taught me to cook from a young age.
AU PAIR EXPERIENCE:
Andre, 10 years old (German family)
- Played soccer with him.
- Took him to piano, soccer, and music classes.
- Handled all household chores (ironing, laundry, cleaning, etc.).
Luisa 8, Julia 5, Valerie 3 (German family)
- Bathed and dressed the girls in the mornings.
- Took them to school, playground, and other classes.
- Ironed the girls' clothes and did some household tasks.
Gabriel 7, Raphael 4, Eloisa 2 (French family)
- Primarily cared for the youngest while the older kids were at tennis or piano classes.
- Cooked dinner every day (except Sundays and Wednesdays).
- Played with the kids and looked after them when they had free time or when the parents were busy or out.
- Gave them English lessons on Sundays (not part of my job, but I enjoyed it).
Noan, 8 years old (French family)
- Woke up at 7 am to get Noan ready for school, made breakfast, and had breakfast with him.
- Took him to the bus stop (1 km away).
- In the afternoon, we did his homework together, practiced music (he played drums, and I play guitar, so I helped him practice for at least 15 minutes).
- Played until 6:30 pm, then prepared dinner for the family.
- Followed this routine every day except Wednesdays (no school, so we played soccer or did other activities from morning until noon).
Maria, 3 years old (Spanish family)
- Spent the entire day with her until her parents returned from work in the afternoon.
- Played, prepared meals, and did various activities together.
