JHECA, 22 YEARS

My name is Jheca Abayon, and I’m a 22-year-old graduate with a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Western Institute of Technology. While my academic focus has been on IT, I have a strong passion for working with children, which is reflected in my one year of babysitting experience. During this time, I have developed a deep understanding of childcare, including creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. In addition to my hands-on experience, my background in Humanities and Social Sciences during Senior High School has equipped me with excellent communication skills, making it easy for me to connect with children and their families. I am organized, detail-oriented, and responsible, qualities that were further honed during my work at Panay Electric Corporation, where I was recognized for my leadership and problem-solving abilities. I am an extroverted and compassionate individual who enjoys bringing joy and structure to children’s lives. My babysitting experience has taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and adaptability, all of which I believe are essential in providing quality care as an au pair. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a family’s daily life by ensuring the children are well-cared for, entertained, and supported in their development. I am also looking forward to the cultural exchange that being an au pair offers, and I am confident that my skills and experience make me well-suited for this role.
