LILY, 22 YEARS

My name is Lily! I am 22 years old and I am about to finish my masters degree in Environmental Science. I am currently based in Cardiff but from the summer onwards I am looking to travel! I have a plethora of experience in the childcare industry. I have worked as a babysitter before, helping out local families in my area during sixth form. Here I babysat children from the ages of 2-10. I worked for three years as a play leader in an after-school club. Here I prepared food for the children as well as organising activities for them to ensure they were having a positive experience. Through this job I was also able to gain qualifications such as my Level 3 food hygiene and safety certificate as well as Level 3 safeguarding and first-aid training. I am looking to become an Au Pair in order to further my experiences in the child care world! Being able to experience new cultures and ways of family life is important to me and I feel that an Au Pair job provides this. Working with children is fulfilling and being able to teach children skills that I wish I knew at their age is something that is very important to me. I would be easy to host! I am clean, not a fussy eater and I enjoy meeting new people. I am always open to new ways of life :)
